Primary and Secondary Tasks

Do you know the difference?

To focus on your primary and secondary tasks, it is important to start with a plan. Make a list of all of your tasks, both primary and secondary, and prioritize them. Start with the primary tasks in the morning when your mind is sharpest and work your way down to the items on your secondary task list when your mind is tired....picking up your dry cleaning is definitely a secondary task!

Try breaking down larger tasks into smaller, more manageable pieces to avoid feeling overwhelmed. Additionally, set aside a specific amount of time each day to focus on the tasks that need to be completed. Remove any distractions during this time and focus solely on the tasks at hand.

Finally, reward yourself for completing tasks or making progress. This will help keep you motivated and focused on completing all of your tasks.
